Success Story – Enhancing Relationships – Jon Davis

In our success story today, Jon Davis tells us how he used Ideal LifeVison to enhance his relationship with his son. Interestingly, “Relationships” is the life section that I get the most testimonials about (Financial/Professional being second). Every week in my In-Box there are short stories and snippets about improved relationships with spouse & children, being back in the good graces of an estranged daughter, or improved feelings and communication with an ex-spouse.If you get nothing else out of Ideal LifeVision but enhanced relationships, from the testimonials I’m getting….that alone was worth it! I’m sure Jon will agree!

Re-Vision Mastermind

Last week we had our first entreprenurial ReVision Mastermind. Because of the smaller size but tremendous POWER of the group, the agenda shifted and it was perfect. We spent the first 4 hours masterminding our individual businesses and getting feedback on marketing, image, coaching packages, websites, etc. I have no doubt that everyone received tremendous benefit. The feedback was not only given verbally, but in writing as well.

18 days later….How are those New Years Resolutions going?

2010 is going to be  an amazing year. Not only have I clarified everything I want in each area of my life for this new year, but I also have action plans, support, structure, & enough motivation wrapped around each of my individual goals.  Because I’m in my 21st year of using a LifeVision, I [...]

Annual Review of your Ideal LifeVision

Taking the time to pause, reflect & celebrate are a natural part of this season….so apply the reflective attitude to your LifeVision process as well. Just this morning, I went over the 9 versions of my 2009 LifeVision. (No, I’m not kidding!) No doubt a few disappointments among the literally hundreds of things I “intended” to happen in 2009. But they didn’t faze me at all because of the list of accomplishments that outweighed the goals “whose time has not yet come”.

Listen up…….

This is a reminder to develop the consistent habit of listening to your Personal Mission Statement (Life Vision) every single day. Spending 8-10 hours in crafting your Ideal Life via your vision statements if only HALF of the process. The combination of clarifying your vision (writing it) and then focusing on it (by listening daily) is what produces the results of manifesting your ideal life. How will your life vision imprint upon your subconscious if you don’t actually listen to it?

As a Man Thinketh

That phrase is not only the title of a very popular self-growth book, but it is also an often quoted scripture from the Bible ( Proverbs 23:7).

James Allen, a writer and philosopher in the early 1900’s wrote a whole book based on this phrase. Of course the idea being that man is literally what he thinks and his character a sum total of all his thoughts.

Affirmations vs. LifeVision

In my business as a LifeVision expert and coach I’m often asked the difference between Ideal LifeVision and affirmations. So I thought in this post I’d do a little comparison.

One of the biggest draw backs of affirmations is that they aren’t specific enough to create a powerful vision that will compel you to action. With single sentence affirmations, your mind (or imagination) isn’t given enough information to create an inner picture that conjures up the important aspects of goal accomplishment: emotion, motivation, visualization, & action plan.
