The Laws of Success (Napoleon Hill) by Jonathon Kvarfordt

There are laws that govern success in an individuals life. Laws that if we are ignorant about, we are restricted and cannot fly. When we learn the laws that give us the ability to succeed, anyone, anytime can do so as easily as we can now with the power of flight. Napoleon Hill spent 20 years studying the similarities of over 500 ultra successful people in his day. He compiled his findings and put it in book form and called it, “16 lessons on the Laws of Success.” There he covers the laws that govern success and makes it so anyone who has an open mind can discover that which would make him/her successful in their lives. This book was at one time considered too powerful for the common man.

Aspire – Discovering Your Purpose through the Power of Words- by Kevin Hall

“Aspire -Discovering Your Purpose Through the Power of Words” by Kevin Hall is a unique book taking 11 powerful words and using them as the framework for presenting ideas and concepts around personal development. This book is nothing like a boring vocabulary book, but rather provides a solid intellectual and emotional journey. Kevin introduces many interesting people, including the Arthur, a linguistics professor who touches Kevin’s life in a deep way. All the stories within the book are compelling, motivating and illustrate the power of each word. I love how he gives us a call to action at the end of each chapter by asking us to identify and honor our own “practitioner” of the word, and then to reach out and share the word with them.

The Lighthouse Principles – Tiffany Peterson

Tiffany is the founder of The Lighthouse Principles. This is where she really gets to showcase her talents and abilities as a trainer and coach. She is currently under the tutelage of Jack Canfield, a world-class motivational guru. Make sure you see his endorsement and what he has to say about Tiffany here on her website. She offers her own coaching programs and packages and every few months offers a 1 or 2 day workshop. In fact, she has a workshop coming up this Saturday that I would HIGHLY recommend you attend. (I will obviously be there as I think everything about her is motivational)

Body Language Workshop

You’ve probably heard the statistics but couldn’t quite believe it: only 7% of communication is Words, 36% is Tone and 57% of Communication is Gestures! Brings to mind that quote by Emerson” Who you are speaks so loudly, I can’t hear what you’re saying.” Most of our body language is communicated on a subconscious level. Yet it has an extensive influence to the quality of our message. From this we can wisely conclude that it is a good idea to become conscious of our own body language as well as others.

Today I’m going to shout the praises of a personal development blog that has made a huge impact on my life over the last few years. Steve Pavlina’s blog is subtitled “Personal Development for Smart People”.I was amazed at the depth of his writing and the new ideas he had on even “old” topics. After reading several blog posts that I just couldn’t get out of my mind (that ultimately compelled me to action), I decided to make reading Steve Pavlina’s blog post a part of my daily Power Hour for personal growth.

Outlook Training – A great resource

Awareness is powerful, but more often than not, it’s not enough to change our beliefs. Outlook has many different tools in their toolbox, but Creating Momentum is at the center of changing those beliefs. You’ve probably heard the philosophy that if you keep doing what you’re doing over and over, you’ll always end up with the same results. And so this “Creating Momentum” tool is all about coming up with new ideas of breaking out of old patterns and thought processes.
