Success Story – Change Your Behavior – Nate Guggia
Ideal LifeVision is so much more than the material things we acquire and the goals we achieve. We can use this amazing tool to also work on some of the less-than-desirable behaviors we have along with the new behaviors we want to adopt. Because LifeVision works on both a conscious and a sub-conscious level, it’s important to specify in detail the exact behavior intended and what that “looks like”. As an example, you script in detail your vision statements about how it’s easy to get up every morning at 5:00 am to begin your day with a Power Hour. Or you add an affirmation about complimenting your spouse & children every single day because it not only builds their self-esteem, but also strengthens your bond with them. Let’s listen in to Nate Guggia’s experience with his Life Vision:
I will agree with Nate, that the greatest rewards of my Life Vision have also been tied to the new behaviors that I have acquired. Years ago, when I first started using my LifeVision I was painfully shy. So shy, in fact, that it was impossible for me to speak in public, approach people at a business function or party or even call a babysitter! It was difficult for me to make new friends because of my bashfulness. Obviously I wasn’t living my Ideal Life because I was limited in so many ways, particularly my relationships. But by putting into my LifeVision, “I am confident around people”, “It’s easy for me to approach others” and “I am out-going and take the initiative in making friends”, it wasn’t long before my behavior began to shift.
Shifting from Shy to Outgoing is one of the greatest benefits of my own personal LifeVision journey. This new behavior has opened many doors for me allowing me to expand the possibilities of living my Ideal Life.
What behaviors would you like to change? What is your motivation and how would this increase your capacity to live your Ideal Life?
