How important is networking and how good are you at it? Networking is becoming more and more critical for success in this ever-evolving world. You might be good at what you do…… but if you are not good at networking and making a few new friends outside your “comfort zone”, you might not be as successful as you could have been.  Remember…it’s not what you know, but who you know.

Outside my comfort zone?  YIKES!

In networking, “comfort zone” is referred to as those people you always end up coming with or sitting next to.  These are people that you can actually start a conversation with and don’t start sweating when they ask you a question. However, when it comes to introducing yourself to a total stranger, you start breathing funny because it is outside your “comfort zone.”

If you want to be successful at networking,  you must first identify your “comfort zone” and then avoid only spending time with “them”.   I am not suggesting that you don’t talk to those people; I am suggesting that you limit the amount of time you spend within your comfort zone.

So here is my very concrete suggestion…..Come to our Success Circuit Networking Event and expand your horizons in both connections and personal development. Today was only our second networking event….but here’s the comments I have already received on Facebook today!

Our networking event is a bit different from your typical “networking event” here is Salt Lake City.  First, you have more than 30 seconds to introduce yourself.  (And we don’t even chime a bell or ding a timer when you’re 2 seconds over!)  As part of the 4-5 minutes you have, you will get to introduce yourself to a small group and then proceed into what you’re looking for or what you want.  The rest of the small group will give you feedback, reaching into their networks (and brains) to supply some resources. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback and resources for people in 2 different small groups…..meeting about 10-25 new people.  The Success Circuit Network is about forming lasting connections that go beyond a 30 second introduction.

Second, we have some AMAZING trainers that provide a 20-30 minute sampler of their expertise!  So far both Tiffany Peterson and Setema Gali have rocked the house with their amazing knowledge in the personal development arena. As the year progresses we will more than likely open up the 30 minute presentation to members of the group that continue to support us….giving others the opportunity to speak and share their knowledge and expertise.

Networking…..Connections…..Personal Development……Masterminding….
