LifeVisioning your MLM Opportunity
With the economy the way it is, many people are looking for additional sources of income. In good economic times people are much less interested in career alternatives, but in bad times they crave new business opportunities for that extra cash flow.
With that said…I don’t know about you…but I have NEVER seen so many people flocking to network marketing (MLM) like I have over the last 6 months hoping to make that very-much-needed additional income.
I’d say in the last month alone, I’ve been approached no less than a dozen times on different “opportunities”. I will admit that even though I’m a fan of network marketing (because I’ve seen it work) for the most part my husband Scott & I remain neutral or unattached because of our careers. His business revolves around producing many different MLM conventions a year & I coach dozens of individuals coming from the same diverse companies.
As some of you know, I have created many MLM Templates for Ideal LifeVision (in conjunction with successful marketers) over the years. Let me take a minute to help you wrap your head around this a little bit.
The Ideal LifeVision is created in sections….one of them being the “Professional/Financial” section. Typically you create a 1-3 typed page “vision” of what your ideal business, professional, and financial life “looks like”. This of course would include income, along with the motives and strategies for accomplishing it.
But it doesn’t really stop there. Ideal LifeVision is also useful in turning weaknesses into strengths. Here’s a couple of examples. Let’s say for instance that because you are so nervous about calling your leads list or warm market, that you procrastinate doing it, therefore sabotaging your success. Here’s something you could “counter” that with and eventually imprint the new mind-set onto your subconscious.
It’s very easy for me to pick up the phone and call 10 people I have on my list each and every day. It’s one of the first things I do as part of my work day. It feels great to get that checked off so I can move on to other parts of my marketing. With ease I pick up the phone, dial the number and begin an enjoyable conversation with the person on the other end. I view that person as a dear friend whom I’m sharing something LIFE-CHANGING with. Because I know the value of what I have to offer, it’s not only easy, but exciting to share it with others!
Here’s another example of how you can strengthen your marketing skills:
With ease, I tell other what I do. XYZ is a natural part of any conversation I have with people both online and face to face. Daily I am asked my secrets of success which leads into a conversation about both the XYZ product and business opportunity.
And finally…..if you’re going to be in this business, you better get good at closing the deal. Here’s a paragraph from one clients lifevision:
“My favorite part of my business is closing the deal. I am a master at it. It is as natural as breathing. I understand that closing a person is merely helping them recognize that NOW is the time for decision making. They are excited about what I’ve shared with them and they are anxious to continue. My potential clients are comfortable with the manner that we transition to this close. I lead them gently to CHOICE and they make the correct one for them. I have learned to master this by practicing on friends and family a dozen times. My expertise pays off as I not only gain a new client but also income that provides for my needs and the needs of my family.”
These are just a couple of ideas that are included in the many MLM templates. But remember, templates are just that….ideas & resources. They are not meant to be used word for word. The Ideal LifeVision is unique to every person and therefore the ideas, actions and vernacular must resonate with the individual.
