WOW. That was an awesome and well thought out comment. I'm a big believer that the answers are within us and we just need to figure out out to pull them out or get out of our own way so that we can see them. I agree that journaling is probably the best tool for SEEING what is right in front of us.

I have been journaling pretty faithfully for about two years now. I have often looked at journaling as simply a way to learn from the past or to remember significant events. I would occasionally go back to my journal simply out of curiosity and find that I really have improved in one way or another. It is a pleasant surprise to find that I am actually making progress.

Yesterday however I had a very different expereince. I was frustrated in my life spiritually. I have really wanted something more. For the first time I really expressed my feelings and frustrations in journal form. I really let it all out! This process alone was very therapeutic. Ultimately this was nothing compared to what was to come.

Last night, in a time of quiet meditation, my mind was suddenly opened up to a great understanding. I know this sounds cliche but the answer was in front of me all along. I already had the answer but just wasn't seeing it. I suddenly have a new appreciation for journaling!

I can see evidence of each of the points you made.
- Journaling brought this problem to the front of my brain.
- It was aproblem I couldn't get out of my head, but now can.
-I can ask "where did that answer come from?"
-I can look back on my life and see improvement.
-Months of journaling have brought an increase in intuition.

Thanks for your insight Ann!
