Sometimes it’s just the little things that make my LifeVision so fun! For example at the beginning of this year I decided that I wanted to get an iPad. But my husband and I had a little discussion about it. He had the opinion that I really didn’t need an iPad (which is completely true) because I already had an iPhone and an Apple laptop. So why in the world would I want an iPad???? Well, just because I wanted one!! With a little encouragement from my husband Scott, he convinced me not to spend money on one…..so I decided to win one instead!

Marketing at its core means writing and speaking powerful words for sound bites, headlines, articles, or social media. No matter what the point of contact, getting into your readers’ mindset is crucial for success. The vast majority of solo business owners write from their own mindset, using their own viewpoint and their own words to attract prospects. But is this valid?

Some powerful and famous coaches claim that your prospects are just like you. They give strong advice to use your own mindset to write and speak to your market.

I challenge everyone to find a way to give, whether it is to those affected in a natural disaster, or to someone in your family, friends, co-workers, or someone who has wronged you in the past. Please take the time to give to others. It can be a simple act; you never know the impact you will have on someone!

With the tragedy that has struck the victims in Joplin, Missouri due to the horrific tornados they endured recently, we each think about wanting to do something for them. We talk about it with our co-workers, friends, family and neighbors. We watch the devastation on the news, hear about it on the radio and see it in the newspapers. Again, we TALK about doing something. Many of us do step forward and take action; yet I wonder at how much of a sacrifice or cost to our own self do we do this?
