How many of you confuse self-esteem with self-confience? I know I have used the words interchangeably many times. Let me take a moment to spell out how I see them as “different”. Self esteem is how we REALLY feel about ourselves in the deepest part of our soul. Do we accept, approve and even love ourselves unconditionally? Do we believe we are worthy of love (from ourselves and others)? And do we deserve the good things in life?

Today I’m going to blog about my good (and new) friend Setema Gail and his upcoming workshop – The Foundational Shift. His philosophy is that one small shift can drastically alter the end of your journey. (Thinking of the aeronautical example that one degree adjustment can get you hundreds of miles from your desired destination). And I couldn’t agree more! I’ve learned over the years, that it really is the tiny changes that we create that ultimately shift our lives.

A little background on Setema…..His motto or self-description says “I am a warrior, enlightened by truth, armed with spiritual disciplines and ready to create value!” So true! As a former Super Bowl Champ & motivational speaker, he not only LOOKS like a warrior, but acts like one as well. He shares my philosophy that we can live the life we truly want and that wealth is merely a by-product of the value we create for others.
