Leaving Your Comfort Zone – Book Review

Recently, I finished Rene Johnson’s book “Leaving Your Comfort Zone” subtitled “How to lead your life from the Power Zone!”. Rene is a good friend and fellow coach and I appreciate her desire to empower women to be more of who they already are. We have a lot in common….The first chapter in her book is entitled “Design Your Vision of Success”. Rene is another gal I decided to do an exchange of services with. She has a coaching program called “Fast Track – Your Way to Success” that includes taking one of the principles from her book and focusing on it during a couple of coaching sessions. I am having Rene help me power-up a keynote that I am giving in January. She’s helping me fine-tune content as well as give me pointers on presentation. As an experienced and powerful speaker, she knows what she’s talking

Ropes Course

A Ropes Course is typically an all-day activity that teaches skills through experiences. The basic goal of the course is to increase the participant’s level of self-confidence as they explore risk, leadership, communication, problem solving & coaching. As a person deals with the success, failures, & disappointments…..self-esteem and personal growth begin to develop.

The second primary goal is to help the participants learn to function meaningfully and productively as a team. Speed and individual excellence is not the goal.

Raw Food – A new adventure!

I experimented with something quite fun today – I hired a raw foodist (is that a word? a raw foodie? a raw nutritionist?) to spend the afternoon with me cooking up (uhh, it’s just a “term”) all sorts of interesting concoctions. Linda Gregersen, a new friend that I met at Biz Divas several months ago is an EXPERT at making this on-the-edge lifestyle seem really easy. In a matter of 2 hours we came up with all sorts of yummy things.Linda understands that this is something most people have to “ease into”. Going from a typical western diet to completely RAW without some sort of transition would be a little insane if you ask me.

My Guest Appearance on Producer Power Hour with Garrett Gunderson

Garrett & I became acquainted earlier this year when I became a client of Freedom Fast Track, a company that he owns. In addition, several of his team members became clients of mine and attended my Ideal LifeVision workshop. This brought me into his office frequently where eventually we became friends as we discovered we have a lot in common. My husband has also been behind the production of many of the events that Garrett speaks at and it’s always a pleasure to run into him across the country as he’s presenting his fabulous keynotes.

Clear Intention

The first obvious requirement to having what you want is knowing what you want. Most people can give you a detailed list of what they don’t want, but how many people can actually articulate in minute detail the things they desire in all areas of their life? Very few! But taking the time to get in touch with our greatest desires is well worth the effort.

Testimonial of Ideal LifeVision Workshop-Greg Blackbourn

I asked my good friend and mentor Greg Blackbourn to take a couple minutes to tell you about his experience with Ideal LIfeVision. Greg has done a lot of training and coaching with some prominent people in the industry and yet found Ideal LifeVision the vehicle that translated vision to action to reality.

Most, if not all coaching and training programs have some sort of “system” for goal setting that they use with their clients. SMART goals are common as is dream mapping. And yet more and more coaches are turning to Ideal LifeVision as a superior way of setting & accomplishing goals with success.
