Body Language Workshop

You’ve probably heard the statistics but couldn’t quite believe it: only 7% of communication is Words, 36% is Tone and 57% of Communication is Gestures! Brings to mind that quote by Emerson” Who you are speaks so loudly, I can’t hear what you’re saying.” Most of our body language is communicated on a subconscious level. Yet it has an extensive influence to the quality of our message. From this we can wisely conclude that it is a good idea to become conscious of our own body language as well as others.

Why Hire a Coach?

What’s a cross between a psychologist and a mom, is less expensive than a shrink but without the guilt?

A personal coach!!

In the past, most people would think of a sports coach when they heard the term “coach”, but “personal coaching” has really taken hold recently. Why? Because it’s probably your best tool in moving you forward and getting you from where you are currently to where you want to be.

Success Story – “Releasing Weight” – Kris Rudarmel

As part of today’s Success Story we’ll hear how Kris was able to “release” 28 lbs as a result of her LifeVision. In talking to Kris prior to the interview, she told me that listening to her LifeVision helped her reinforce an “eating plan” that she was currently using. And you might also be interested in why she used that term “release” 2 lbs a week as opposed to “lose” 2 lbs a week and why I just referred to it as an “eating plan” instead of a “diet”. It’s all part of the “conscious language” that I’m always referring to

StevePavlina.com – A Great Personal Development Blog

Today I’m going to shout the praises of a personal development blog that has made a huge impact on my life over the last few years. Steve Pavlina’s blog is subtitled “Personal Development for Smart People”.I was amazed at the depth of his writing and the new ideas he had on even “old” topics. After reading several blog posts that I just couldn’t get out of my mind (that ultimately compelled me to action), I decided to make reading Steve Pavlina’s blog post a part of my daily Power Hour for personal growth.

Journaling for Insights

Through journaling, you can bring everything you want to ponder, change, develop, prepare for, or accomplish into the conscious part of your brain where you can do something about it. It’s a place where you can bring yourself out of your “automatic” thought patterns, behaviors and habits. Journaling is one of the most effective self-accountability tools you will ever use because it makes you consciously aware of and responsible for nearly every aspect of your life.

Success Story – Change Your Behavior – Nate Guggia

Ideal LifeVision is so much more than the material things we acquire and the goals we achieve. We can use this amazing tool to also work on some of the less-than-desirable behaviors we have along with the new behaviors we want to adopt. Because LifeVision works on both a conscious and a sub-conscious level, it’s important to specify in detail the exact behavior intended and what that “looks like”.

Do You Really Need to Change or Are You Just a Change Junkie? by Alex Fayle

I used to change because I felt that fulfilling my dreams was too much work, and yet I’ve come to learn that it takes a lot more work to change and start over than to stick it out.

I’m not talking about settling for your situation no matter what it is. If you’re stuck in a rut, then yes make the effort to change because the work is worthwhile.
